Our New Rewari terminal commenced commercial operations in April 2023. The terminal is located at New Rewari Station in Haryana, in close proximity to key industrial and consumption centres across Haryana, Delhi NCR, and Rajasthan (Source: CRISIL Report). It operates on 8 acres of leased land. It is equipped with one rail handling line and has been developed under the Gati Shakti Multi‑Modal Cargo Terminal Policy. We have acquired additional 27 acre of freehold land for expansion of this terminal.
It is strategically located along the Western DFC, a high-capacity rail freight corridor connecting to ports including Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (“JNPT”) (Mumbai), Mundra (Gujarat), and Pipavav (Gujarat). (Source: CRISIL Report) This terminal is designed to support highspeed, doublestack container train operations, enabling lower transit times and logistics costs compared to conventional rail routes. Aligned with Indian Railways’ hubandspoke logistics framework, it functions as both a freight aggregation hub (i.e., receiving singlestack containers from multiple origins and consolidating them into doublestack trains for longhaul movement to ports or inland destinations) and distribution hub (i.e., receiving doublestack containers from ports or other longhaul corridors and distributing them through singlestack trains to multiple inland locations), thereby improving throughput and supporting efficient supplychain movement. We handle only containers in this terminal, which are either meant for transhipment or for distribution in the nearby catchment. The terminal has been developed to handle 141,133 TEUs annually, with 232 ground slots for container stacking.
